The Kiiva System
The Kiiva solar system.
This solar system lies within the Aora Galaxy.
Home to the massive world Helde Hiine, this system also plays host to other planets and their moons.

Helde Hiine
Closest to the sun, in the habital zone, orbits Helde Hiine.
The name comes from Maremis, and means Old Mother.
The biggest mass in the Kiiva system, Helde Hiine spends 12 months circling the sun, and 96 hours to turn around its own axis.
Helde Hiine was created by Kivtirla, a divinity hailing from the Ijada solar system. She used most material already present in the solar system, leaving only the gas giants, and a few distant frozen planets.
Helde Hiine has both a surface world, Hert, and a cavernous underworld, Ynvan. Both were capable of producing life.
It has 4 moons, named after the 4 first Kyver that Kivtirla created.
Jeseranur, a golden moon.
Urnaura, a blueish moon.
Urfeorii, a grey moon.
Ottaur, a white moon.
During its most active years, this planet was host to eight intelligent species. This era came to an end when Kivtirla was once more awoken from her slumber. Now, the planet is a hellish landscape as she reshapes it for her people, the Ceak. Only a few individuals remain and survive. The underworld Ynvan has not escaped this sentence, but the Scoua manage to survive with the help of some solitary Gzabu.
Helde Hiine's long days are split into 4 24 hour long days and nights.
Day / Duri(duu-rih). The beginning of this one is marked by a sunrise.
Daynight / Durina(duu-rih-na). The shadows aim straight north when the durina comes into effect. This day is spent in many ways, but it's important to lock up livestock and prepare for the following "day," marked by a starless sunset.
Nightday / Nurida(nuu-rih-da). During these 24 hours, dark creatures called nurihasse/nightrunners appear, and the moons and stars vanish from the sky. Most people will work inside, or use this as a day off, to try and forget that there is danger lurking outside.
Night / Nuri(nuu-rih). When the stars, and moons, reappear in the sky, the bells are rung to signal that the nurihasse are no longer present. They vanish as the stars return.

Duren
While closest to Hiine, it is still a far bit away. It uses 2 and a half year to circle the sun, and only 12 hours to circle its own axis.
This white gas giant has three moons, Dus, Nek, and Fe. It has not been explored, so no one knows what the gas is like. Some speculate that it's actually a strange frozen planet.
This planet appears as the brightest star on the night sky.
This planet does not support life

Hafiva
Closer to Duren than to Nuktoon, this small red gas planet has no moon. No one knows what kind of gas it is, though some speculate that the gas is a volatile aether gas.
It travels around the sun in 9 months, but turns around its own axis at a slow pace of 14 hours.
Hafiva is a Ceak word, hari and fivuah. First word means red, and the second meaning distant. Translated, it means the distant red.

Nuktonn
A small frozen planet, only 1/3 the size of Helde Hiine, Nuktonn escaped Kivtirla's sight by being behind Duren at the time of Her arrival. It uses 2 and a half years to circle the sun, spending most of its time in the shadow of Duren.
This planet only appears once every four years, for 2 weeks, as a very brilliant star in the night sky. It's always seen next to Duren, on the right side of it. Once the two move far enough along the orbit, the brilliance dims and the planet has a very weak glow while it returns behind its neighbour.

Afarnuk
Furthest away from the sun, this planet is a gas giant, with green gas. It spends 16 months traveling around the sun, and no one knows how long it takes to travel around its own axis. It's too far away.
It appears as a green star on the night sky, and some say the Kyver travel there for mysterious reasons. If this is true or not, only the Kyver knows.
