Zabunux common
In the new canon from 2015, Zabu became the root language that the other languages more or less sprouted from. That being said, there are other words and phrases that continued to evolve after Hiine took their tongue. Just like Zabunux also continued to evolve their language.

There might be minor edits, or additions in the future. But I will try and not remove words.
All the words here (Hiine, previous called Likan) was just made up by me. If there are words similar to other languages- that happens.

Alphabets, symbols, scripts.
Ceak
Used by all over Terekiiva, the northern mega continent of Helde Hiine, and by the Ceak when they moved on to Tie Melena. There are regional differences, but it's all in all the same language. Some parts of Terekiiva also combine letters to make symbols for utilize space on paper more efficiently. On Tie Melena, some Janborian and Acrias know this script as well. This script was written using brushes, pens, and pencils. |
Konac
Used by Konac, and only Konac, this simple language mostly serve to be carved into stone or wood with sharp tools, or claws. If found on bark, it's best to leave, as they are sometimes left as markers for hunting groups. Ramolin is the Konac credited for creating the system, to aid ae's mother's hunters create strategies and communicate without having to meet up. While created on Helde Hiine, it traveled with the Konac to Shareen. It's rarely used on Shareen, outside of historical lessons. This script was supposed to be written using sharp tools. |
Likan
This is the most common used alphabet used on Shareen, in the Zain territory. Because of the ease for writing it, many from the other species learn this as well. This language is the default language setting for the H.A.C. So most people who wants to use that, probably take some basic classes. On Shareen, all species, except Mapreture, use this script in some form or another. It is loosely based on the Zabu script, but has evolved a lot since then. This script was supposed to be written with brushes and ink, pen and ink, or lead pencils. |
Lueg
This is the commonly used script for the Lueg during their technological era, the late era of Lo Huan, a ruler from Zabunux. The script fell largely into disuse after the Lueg experienced a civil war, ending in a return to nature. During this era, Harun, Salid, and Vida, all could read and write this script. Lueg normally use the power of recollection, a power passed down through the Vida Lueg, to keep track of their history. This script was a computer font, and not meant to be written with a brush or pen. It is possible of course. |
Maremis
Largely used by Maremis, Likan, and Toimendos, during the species existed on the world of Helde Hiine. There, the Maremis were the cultural corner stone, and because of this, Maremis was the most common script among the cultural elite. Likan was mostly used scholars and workers. On Shareen, Likan can learn this as a secondary language, but it's mostly Maremis who use it on a daily basis. This script is meant to be written with brushes. |
Toimendos
Based on pictograms, from objects and creatures, the Toimendos script has no credited inventor. It just grew over time. It was not commonly used on Helde Hiine, other than Toimendos who kept track of tribe business, or Likan adventurers learning it to build bridges. On Shareen, it's mostly only used on official work. While Toimendos want it to be mandatory to learn, many tribes don't bother. This script was often scratched onto broken off branches, into the soft thin bark. Later it was written onto leather parchment. |
Zabu
Invented by Lo Huan, who is also credited for the calendar. It was later amended by Rerenskar, a ancestor to Hachid. Zabu also practice calligraphy as a recreational hobby, and poems written in a more cursive style is not uncommon. When Nenua came to control the old rejuvenated libraries of Agora, she reinstalled the script and standardized it for use in the libraries. All Zabu use this script, Azabu, Mzabu, and Nzabu. This script is meant to be written with a brush and ink, or a pen with ink. |
