Description:
There is a big sexual dimorphism between the sexes, with the females muscular forms towering over the much smaller and daintier aoe. Both genders have long strong tails, covered in scales not unlike that of snakes. They used to have scales all over their bodies, a point of pride to them. As time went on however, they began to develop thick skin instead, with the exception being their tail. Their hair is often the same colour as their tail scales. The scales are smooth to the touch, and hide powerful muscles. Scale colours are still a big point of interest and aoe with "rare" colours are favoured by alpha Konac.
Genders:
Konac have two genders, one that is female, and the other one is bi-gendered that is called aoe.
So instead of "male/man - he, his, him, himself," the pronouns are "aoe - ae, aeself."
The "they, their, themselves" still works for those not accustomed to the pronouns. The aoe evolved due to a long absence of the females, with help of isolated Zabu. They can become pregnant, but they have no opening that can act as an exit for the egg. While the females try their best to prevent such behaviour now, from fear of harm coming to their aoe, it's however not unheard of. Because of this, any hatchling from such a union will take the name of the carrier, as their hatching almost always spells the death for said carrier.
Fangs:
Konac also have powerful and concealable canines both in their upper and lower jaw. This, coupled with their ability to unhinge their jaws, but also lock them in a vice-like grip, make the Konac dangerous predators. In addition, they possess an extremely acidic neurotoxins, causing paralyzing and tissue damage. The venom can also be used on other material to eat away chunks, such as wood, ice, and in large dosages, on weak metal plates. Glass and ceramic are still good containers for the venom.

There are patterns, combining different colours, but flat colours are the most common for the Konac. These colours range from anything, blue, black, orange, green, pink, peach, red, cream, beige, lilac, no colour are off limits. That being said, some colours are more coveted and thus controlled by alphas to remain inside their own harems or to an extension, their colonies.
Scale colours can be any colour of the rainbow, though the favoured ones are "pearl white," various pink hues, purples, and two coloured patterns. The common colours for aoe are murky blues, reds and browns. Common colours for females are tans, greens, blacks, spotted brown and black. White and silver are rare colours, and comes from one very old Alpha's bloodline.

Female: Child: 0-50 | Adolescent: 50-60 | Adult: 60-205 | Old: 205--Rejuvenation: 500, where their bodies return to the adult age.

Only the aoe are in possession of magic, the kind that connects them to Ciga Leh, who is often depicted as a Konac aoe aeself. This is time magic, with the ability to slow down, hasten, and even stop the targets in their tracks.
Earthly Domain:
Konac prefer the areas around the equator, though since Likan occupy this place, they have agreed to come there during the colder months. Since arriving to Shareen, they were placed on the north-western territory, founding the capital of Kie Dom, a domed city, using Likan technology. Konac prefer warm climates and the domed city has an always temperate clime.
Areas they frequent:
Konac live on the northern hemisphere, as long as it's not too cold. They do hibernate in areas with winters, so they don't completely avoid places less tropical.
Society:
Konac live in flocks that are called colonies. The females are hunters and providers.
In the past, the alpha would most of the desirable aoe to herself, and her most trusted hunters are allowed to keep one aoe to themselves. In present times, Alphas will court aoe, and in some cases, other females. There is now more focus on proper courtship, rather than raw displays of strength.
Note: Got Konac living in Zain, it's sadly become more common for Konac to undergo hormonal treatment to fit
The aoe raise the hatchlings, which come from eggs that the females lay. Aoe can become pregnant and carry eggs, but have no way of laying the eggs. So if they become pregnant, it's a death sentence as the hatchling will hatch inside them and break out of the aoe. Females try their best not to let the aoe mate among themselves.
There exists colonies of only aoe, but they are very rare, and the number of individuals never grow, since the hatchling replaces the carrier parent.
Konac who do NOT want other races to enter their territories, will mark borders with a vicious stench. Any trespassers are hunted. Konacs are proud, both sexes.
Alliance:
They ally mainly with Likan and Toimendos.
In the past, the Konac would not ally, and they would attack anyone entering their territory.
On Shareen, they're more social, seeing the benefits in being part of the Shareen Council. Both sexes are free to move from the colonies and settle other places without repercussions.
Religion:
The Konac don't worship in the same way as the other races. They do not have temples. They do not give food offerings. They instead give bones and sometimes animal hearts to alters made from piles of rocks. It works, so the colonies still benefit from the Isphers blessings. Also, they appreciate Bansno for what he is, a guardian of the dead.

Konac female names are inspired by the throaty sounds that Konac used instead of a language. Coming from a simple life of hunters, the Konac was not in need in a complicated language. Couple that with each Konac having their own smell to identify them, and names unimportant. However, as they began to come more and more in contact with other races, under less aggressive circumstances, a need to adopt and create names and words came along as well. Most Konac just took the sounds they most often used, and adopted them into a written word, then assigned meaning to them. As time went on, old names were re-used and thus the meanings also followed.
Konac names differs from the other races, in that they have childhood names and adulthood names. Normally, it is only the women who take an adulthood name, or a warriors name, as they call them. Aoa are generally forbidden to take adulthood names.
The names are usually very very short, for ancient Konac, and longer the newer generation they come from.
Ieo is from the early Hiine eras, more than 3000 years old.
Jekhereth is from Shareen around year 1300, a much younger Konac who might have more inspiration from the other races naming conventions. A rule of thumb is that childhood names tend to be longer, with three syllables or more, while adulthood ones tend to be very short, with one or two syllables. They often have H's in them.
As a general rule, childhood names pertain to the parents hopes for the child, whereas the adulthood one describes what they became. It's not uncommon for Konac to earn their second name, leaving their old one behind. Only parents or close siblings may use the childhood name, as it is a very touchy subject for most Konac. Lovers never use the childhood name for each other.
A female that haven't established a harem of her own, or joined a colony, will not have a suffix of the alpha. One that has her own harem, will take give her name as a prefix to her ae. One that belongs to a colony will often present themselves with their alpha's name as a front name to their own.
